- Pushpa is known for its high seed yield, with reports indicating approximately 18-22 quintals per hectare.
- Maturity:
It is a medium-duration variety, maturing in around 95-100 days.
- Spacing:
Studies have shown that Pushpa yields significantly higher seed yields with both 45 cm and 30 cm row spacing.
- Other Notes:
- It is a good source of protein and oil.
- Soybean is predominantly grown in black cotton areas.
- It is a rich source of quality protein, containing around 40% protein with all essential amino acids, beside 18-20% oil.
- Soils with excessive salts/ sodium, acidic and poorly drained soil are not suitable for soybean.
